| Help! Lilly keeps ripping her piss pad up! We are training Lilly to go on a pee pad. She actually does this very well. Because she is still a puppy we do xpen her from time to time, especially when we leave, so she doesn't have full run of the house. When we leave, she often rips her piss pad up to shreds. Then it is ripped up, so she ends up peeing on the floor, because the pad is crumpled up in the corner. The hard part is, she doesn't do this when we are here, so how do I catch her to tell her NO???? |

| I am sorry you are having that problem. I know how frustrating that can be. You might try using a potty pad holder (frame) or use washable potty pads.

| I agree a pee pad holder helps alot. I bought the heavier one with a bottom and a snap on each end (it was way easier to change than the snap together frame type ones) and since they can't easily access the ends to grab and shake , it may help. I also bought the bitter apple spray and sprayed the pad ( lightly) with it as a deterrent in the beginning.

| Their are YT members on here that sell the washable type of pee pads. They might work better for your little darling.

| so sorry to hear you are having this issue. Mine did it too. Nothing helped...not even the pad holders. Also, she'd pee on the pad but won't poop on it! Very frustrating. After about 6 weeks of using the pads, (I got my pup when she was 4mos. and pad trained.) I finally switched her to doing her business outside. Good luck. I hope you can get it to work for you. |

| I have the same problem and the trays didn't work for us. I even tried the bitter apple spray. One day I just put the tray in the pen with no pad and she used it . It is a little messier to clean but keeps it in one spot off the floor. |
