Hi Everyone! I'm new to the forum but i've already learned so much great things! I did a search but I couldn't find anything about my problem. I recently bought a 8 week male yorkie. He has a scary bark, its very low pitched but it sounds like a human being strangled. Is this something that happens to young yorkies while their vocal cords mature? Does anyone elses puppy or dog bark like this? Please let me know i'm worried.

Is it possibly a "goose honk", otherwise known as a "reverse sneeze"? Yorkies are famous for this noise. It sounds like the dog is growling and dying simultaneously.
