| What is wrong with my dog My dog won't go on her pee pads anymore. Yesterday she peed on her bed. It was old and she needed a new one anyway so I threw it out and laid down a fleece blanket for her. I went out and bought her a new bed yesterday. Took her to get her shots and gave her a bath. Then last night she climbed up in my boyfriends lap and peed on him. Then this morning peed on her new bed. Grant it I only paid $20 for it, But I can't keep doing this. She use to do so good. She is kept, when we are not home or can't keep an eye on her, in a confined space about 7X4 with her bed, food and water a few of her toys then I keep the bathroom door open and that is where her pee pad is. There has been no changes in the house. Then only thing that I can think is the night before this all happended I vaccumed and mopped her area. But, I have done this before and this never happended. Any ideas???

| Maybe she has a urinary tract infection. A trip to the vet in a case like this is always a good idea, just in case it's not behavior trouble. Good luck!

| If she had a UTI would she be going multiple times with just a little here and there? She hasn't went since she peed on her bed this morning, although I haven't seen her drink any water today. In another thread someone said to feed watermelon or apples. Any other suggestions? I have to work tomorrow, but I am going to have my mom take her to the vet.

Possesion aggression is growling freezing snapping at or hiding an article that they need to gruard. Dominace well is not as dog do not want to take over the world they just want clear consistant rules and structure without abuse. Dominace aggression is a very rare item and not easy diagnose most that is call dominace aggrsion is actually fear based saftey aggression... I get you before you get me usually caused by abbusive training means. JL

| ...a dog will pee on things to mark it as theirs...esp in a pack... have u never seen a dog mark his territory?? ..I have even seen various dogs mark the same 'toy' as theirs. Spent the whole day taking turns to claim it..HAHA eww, and who wants to chew it after that ! LOL .....and some will pee when being submissive...esp when nervous or excited... ...there are 'many reasons' they will pee--but you're quite right to make sure it isnt a medical reason. ALL THE BEST ! |

You get marking in hay that is my female and stay away in males that are not fixed. Sudmissive peeing is fear pee a please that you do not hurt me. Marking as some tend to call it is anxiety based stress relief so that the dog can calm down. Marking a toy with pee or poop will not stop another dog from playing with it as we all know dogs that eat poop. If we spend time always going to the oh it is territorial or its aggression then we miss what most aggression is which 99% is fear based. JL
