| Regressing after housebroken What do I do with a 6 month old puppy after it has been housebroken, but all of a sudden about three weeks ago started wetting/pooping in the house? It doesn't do it every day (goes several days of ringing the bell), but some days, it can go on the floor two or three times and ring the bell for the other times that day. I can't figure her out! Please help. |

| What I would do - DO NOT give her the run of the house, keep her on a leash, the leash connected to you, so you can catch her in the about to position, tell her NO, NO, potty outside! Take her outside, let her finish outside, repeat, potty outside! Praise her and give her a cheerio right then when she does go outside, when she does ring the bell, good girl. They are not truly potty trained till they are about a yr, some even 2. Just keep at it, in the end the hard work will be a great reward. Lots of luck Quote:

| My Emma just did the same thing at 7 months. Thursday I bought her panties, cutest things, and she takes them off only to go out to do her "business" then right back on they go when she comes in the house. She wont pee in them, it's working great. she is more anxious to take care of business when she does go out now, rather than play then come in and use the floor or my SOFA! |
