Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | put her on a leash so you can correct her when she starts to go after the cat. have the cat walk by and if she makes any motion or sound towards the cat give her a tug and tell her no. you will probably have to do it over and over again. if she's ignoring you and the tugging then get in her face so she pays attention and tell her no. you can do what ceasar does and give her a tap with your hand to get her attention and tell her now. Then give her treats around the cat ONLY when she is quiet.

| Try a spray bottle with water. My two (and the cat) know what the water bottle means and I don't even have to spray it half the time.

| I do time outs in her crate. (She doesnt sleep there..she's allowed to roam the house..it's purposely there for time-outs) We call it her home. She knows when she's done something bad. I holler "Go in your home" and she'll run right to it. Leave her in there for like 1 or 2 mins. Nothing long, they'll forget what they did if so.

| We have different levels of "punishment"..Usually it starts with "NO!" and usually she'll continue to do whatever it is...Another "NO!".. Three times, "That's it!" MArch her into her "home".. lol They'll learn. Hate to hear Sweet Marci getting herself in trouble! lol.

| It's usually just Harley that acts up, so its either the crate, or in a room where no one is (laundry room, playroom). He hates being seperated from the action.

| I second the spray bottle with water. We use this and it really does work. We rarely have to actually spray it because just picking it up makes them stop the behavior. Wrigley waits by the door when Crosley is outside and she just attacks her when she comes back inside and so we usually grab the bottle or Crosley doesn't even want to come in when she sees the little one waiting to pounce on her like a lion! It really makes a difference! It's made a major difference with excessive barking ( that would be Crosley ) and when they both run off with stuff they aren't supposed to have! Good luck!

| Oh my! Hard to believe this is sweet MArci we're talking about here... Sounds to me she needs "THE BOX"! The Box is something they definately DONT like to be in...find a box large enough for her to stand in but small enough so she doesnt have room to "turn" or "lay". Preferably a little higher too so she cant just jump out. Daisy gets "the box" for REALLY naughty things..She HATES it..So it's now gotten to the point where I just say "Do you want to go in THE BOX??!!". and she'll stop the naughtiness almost immediately. Here's a pic of Daisy being punished ((it's actually filled with packaging materials too..lol))

| I'm sorry you're still having problems. Ellie is not nice to cats either. Off topic question: What is a krackle jack?
