| Babies tore a hole in the floor!!! I am new to this site and have found great information. I have 2 5-month old yorkies, Lucy and Buddy and they have ripped a hole in the laundry room floor. I have them there during the day while I'm at work with there wizdog, food, and bed. They have seemed to have been doing pretty well until yesterday when I came home and saw the hole. Are they mad at me or just teething, maybe a combination of both? |

| Do they have any toys? They are probably bored.

| I agree, they must be bored. Try some toys and kongs filled with peanut butter, cheese or goodies. Good luck, |

| Sounds like boredom to me. Give them some good toys to play with, and yes they definetly can be teething.

| They could be teething, and/or be very bored. Try some toys.

| My girls did the same thing...but instead of the floor they ate a big hole in the plaster wall. Came home and there was a hole in the wall large enough for either of them to walk through. Emmy had a totally white mouth which led me to believe that she was the guilty one. I think they did it out of boredom. They did not like being confined to the kitchen, bath and sunroom. They wanted out and that is how they responded. I wanted to be mad at Emmy. But how could I? She is just too darn cute...especially with all the white on her mouth. Her face was saying, "not me, mommy. I would not eat your walls."

| Thanks, they do have some toys but maybe not enough for the both of them. I also haven't thought of the toys that they can chew with some type of treat in the middle of them. They are always surprising me with something. I couldn't be mad either cause I just couldn't believe that they did that. And you're right, the look that they give you when they know they've done something wrong like, "huh....wasn't me". |

| I think they're bored also, but more toys might not be the fix to the solution. Mine have tons of toys in their play area they stay in when I'm not home, but I still find chewed blankies or shredded toys because they get bored and have too much energy. I think taking them for a walk before they go into their room (or adding length to your current walk) would let them release energy before they are in their room for the day. | Oh, wow! You're right. They haven't gotten to the carpet yet. You can't get mad at them though cause they are just doll babies. |
