When I had a dog and had to put them in kennels during a house-move, I used the RSPCA at Titchfield (the Stubbington Ark). They have a boarding section, the profits from which go towards the cost of running the stray/rescue side of things.

The last time I had my late Peke, Teddy, stay at the Stubbington Ark he was so pleased to see his favourite kennel-maid that as soon as he saw her he didn't want to know me!!

If you want to make a booking for the summer holidays though I'd reccommend you contact them right away to make sure they still have any vacancies for the dates you want.

Thanks for that .Im going to check it out.My main worry is she is quite a small furbaby lb5.5 and she feels the cold and they all seem quite open.

Don't worry, your Yorkie should be perfectly OK. Mine only weighed 5lbs dripping wet and he was perfectly fine staying at the Stubbington Ark.
