| Yorkie coat color question My Delilah is just about 5 months old and her back is as black as black can be. I thought that by now it would have started to change color. Her head is starting to change, but not her back. I was wondering if some Yorkies keep their black color, or if they all eventually change. I kind of like her black. I guess my main question is at what age do they start to change?

| Occasionaly one will retain it's black color, they are usually off texture though. Is she breaking color at the top of her thighs or on her stomach?

| Not at all! The only place she is changing is on her head. She has a white patch on her chest, but that has been there. Her belly is all black to the root as well as her back. Her legs are black on top and tan on the bottom.

| I would say her back is more "fluffy" than the rest of her. She has a slight wave to it as well. Not sure if you can tell from the pics, but here are a few.

| She looks so mch like Danali!! She's a silk coat and will probably break to a very dark blue but a little later in life. She's adorable!

| Are you asking about Delilah? I was lucky and was taking my other two maltese to the groomer and there she was with her brother and sister being sold by one of the groomers' clients. I fell in love and had to have her! I wasn't looking for a third dog, but am sooooo glad we have her now!
