| Getting nervous..... Still no labor, no puppies yet. I should have asked my vet this...I'll call in a minute. On Monday with the xrays, the 4 puppies had their heads to the front, and their fannies to Lucy's rear. Will they turn?? I should have asked then, but didnt think about it, so now I am worried. First litter, please go smooth!! Laura |

| Thanks! I called the vet and the nurse said the babies should turn. I am just getting really uptight since I've heard if they come butt first, sometimes the head gets stuck. Actually my mentor has told me some really BAD stories about labors going bad so I am just uneasy. I'm sure she'll do just fine. Probably better than we do. Did anyone's dog cry out during the first labor? All the birthings I've experience were with dogs that had a few litters. I really, really love my Lucy. If she cries, I'm gonna cry too. With my first labor, I didn't cry, I cursed. I wonder if she will curse........ Laura |
