| Puppies have dropped!! Lucy's puppies "dropped" a couple of days ago. Scared me at first, she looked so much thinner up top. But when you look and feel underneath the lower part of her belly, there they are! We should have about a week to go...I'm getting really excited! She just keeps getting bigger and bigger. I am starting to wonder just how much larger she'll get in this last week..... Laura |

| Her first due date by her first breeding is Thursday, the 11th, but that was fairly early after she started bleeding. I think a truer due date will be next Saturday. She was really large, firm, and round. Even up around her spine. But since she has dropped, the puppies are very low, in the bottom of her belly. Her stomach hangs lower to the ground. They are also quite active now. I think she is carrying around 3 or 4. We get an xray tomorrow at the vet's. With this being her first litter, I would feel better. There is no history on either side of large puppies, but I would just feel better. I bet she weighs a good 10 pounds now, and she is normally a 5 pound dog! We will all be having puppies very soon!!
