| Purebread White Yorkie Litter this morning Hi Folks, My 2 year old yorkie had a litter this morning. This is her second litter. She had 3 puppies and the first one was a regular healthy 3.5 ounce black/brown boy. The second one was a 3.7 ounce white boy with a few small black spots but he died due to complications at birth (came out backwards and was stuck while we were sleeping). The third one is a healthy girl which is white with a few small black spots on her as well. She is doing well at 3.2 ounces at birth. I contacted the breeder that we purchased our purebread yorkies from and she said she never had a white litter before. The purebread mother was never around any other dogs (she stays inside all the time) and the father is a purebread as well. We don't have any friends with white dogs or any other dogs for that matter. Has anyone ever seen a purebread white litter before? Thanks Ruben |

| Congratulations on your litter! The white ones are called Parti Yorkies. Do a search here on them and you'll find lots of good info.

| Gosh, I'd say you have some Parti colored Yorkie pups on your hands. It is a color anomaly. I didn't know much about anomallies before I had 2 golden ones born in a litter of mine. That is when I found they come in the standard color, Parti, golden (red) and chocolate. I own all the colors except the parti. I think you will be VERY happy to research the parti colored Yorkie as many people desire them (even though it is a fault). AKC will accept them, but they can't be shown. |

| I was also wondering if maybe your babies will be parti yorkies. I've never seen or heard of white yorkies. So sorry you lost one. Please send pics all along so we can see how they turn out.
