No, many Yorkies are born with white on their chests and their feet....it doesn't mean they are carriers. It almost always grows out with their adult coat.

| Well it's day two. The Parti and regular puppy are doing very well. They are both feeding from the mother now and the stomachs are growing bigger. The parti was being hand fed yesterday but we finally got her to accept the mother for feeding. Now I can sleep better at night. The mother also has a white spot on her chin as well as her chest being all white and her 2 back feet. I have allot of people contacting me wanting to buy the parti but we are going to keep her as she is quite special. We may be selling her brother once he is old enough and he may be a carrier of the parti but I have to do more research on that as I am obviously new to this. We already have 4 terriers now (1 fixed 12lb. Silky Terrier boy, Jasmine the Dam, Benji the Sire, and Minni the daughter from their last litter.) If it was up to my wife, we would keep them all, but it comes to a point where you have to keep it realistic Ideally, I don't mind keeping 3 - 4 of them all together but I may have to send my 9 month old girl from the previous litter to a new home as well as the boy from this litter. I try very hard to not get so attached, but it never seems to work as they really become part of your life. Ruben |

| I'm so glad all is going well! It is sooooo very hard when it doesn't happen in the natural order of things. Glad to hear both pups are nursing nicely. Isn't it surprising how big their bellies get so fast! They always remind me of little baby hippos. Huge belly and tiny little legs with chubby hippo thighs. God, I just LOVE it!! | Ruben~ Your puppies are adorable...I don't blame you and your wife for wanting to keep them!! Your parti baby's markings remind me of my Livi when she was tiny. If you type in Livi in the search box you will see lots of her pictures....might give you an idea of what your sweet baby will look like. Your baby even looks like she has gold markings above one eye, more than the other. Livi has the same thing, only hers is over the opposite as your baby. I have a thread on here of her at 3 weeks old (and on up) and your puppy does remind me of her. Have lots of fun with your newest additions! Tammy) |

Do you think the brother of my litter a parti carrier? How about the previous litter we had with the same Dam and Sire? Ruben
