My Yorkie Sascha has a coloring unlike any other Yorkie's I've seen.......from the neck back and down her legs her coloring is pretty traditional, but her face and ears are very grey, with blonde around her eyes and a little blonde around her nose....I also have a Silky and when Sascha had her summer haircut she ended up looking like a smaller version of her Silky "brother" Spelcheq. Both are registered...........has anyone seen that type of coloring on a Yorkie?

How old is your baby?? It may just be the puppy changin colors... from dark to tan... some dogs turn gray first...

Sascha is 14 months old and she has been this color since she was 8-10 months old...............I think she is beautiful but when I see Yorkies with such "traditional" Yorkie coloring and have never seen one the color Sascha is, I wonder. When I look Silkies up, she looks more the coloring of a Silkie, but she has the physical attributes of a Yorkie.

By blonde (in my first post) I suppose I should have said "tan"....she is tan around her eyes and on either side of her nose (snout?).
