| Get her to the vet, you could possibly lose the puppy, but could lose the mom too.

| Well, 3.5 hours later I am home from the vet. Though I wish i had some better news, I was right about there being another puppy. He took an x-ray and sure enough one puppy turned in the shape of a U and her uterus had contracted around it so much there was no room for puppy to move. So, he had to do a c-section to get it. He told me he would call for me to come get the puppy when he got it out. Well, he never called for me. The last one was a little girl. Mommy Cricket is home and doing well. We have 2 pups.. Female Coco 4.5 oz Male Kosmo 2.5 oz I have decided that I cannot deal with loss like this nor can I deal with seeing my little Cricket endure pain the way she had to for her c-section and I am not breeding again. She will be spayed upon the weaning of her pups and then be treated as a princess. Thank you all who gave advice and offered support, prayers, etc.

Bella Boo & Diggy Too! Donating GS Member | I also thought of you quite a few times...hard to hear of stories, get involed then have to wait it out. I am so happy to hear you have 2 babies and most of all that mom is okay! Those puppies would have it rough without her! SHe sounds like she was a trooper! Sorry for your loss, celebrate your gain! Please keep us posted and show us some pics!

BANNED! | I am glad your mom and pups are doing well. I am sorry you had to have such a loss as well. I am also glad to hear you are having her spayed and letting her be the princess she deserves to be. Breeding is not easy and it has a risk of complications even for the experienced breeder, so IMO your doing the right thing and spaying her...again I'm sorry you had such a time of it. |
