| Help! My yorkie was crossbred! Hi, I have two beautiful yorkies that are my indoor "kids". My female is in heat and was mated with by my outdoor male american eskimo puppy. Is there such a thing as a yorkimo?? If so, does anyone know if they will sell and for how much. I am only going to let my female have three litters. This will be her second. I have skipped a heat cycle in between letting her breed. Anyone know anything about the cross breed? |

| How big is an American Eskimo puppy? She may have a VERY hard time if they are alot bigger than her not only in delivery but also just in carrying them. It could be very dangerous. Don't know anything about weather they would sell or not. Good luck Kim

| They were only tied together once so I am not definite she is pregnant by him but she was also with my male yorkie. I will contact my vet and ask his advice. |

| First, you should be worried about her health as having these pups could be very dangerous and perhaps life risking for your female, please take her to your vet immediately. The last thing you should be worrying about is how much the pups will sell for. |

| If they tied then there is a chance that she was bred, so eventhough the pups might belong to your male yorkie, but they might also belong to the American eskimo. My advice would be to abort them. |

| I think that those dogs are much larger than yorkies...How big is your female? Regardless, I think it's too dangerous for her to have puppies of an American Eskimo dog. I agree, you shouldn't even be thinking about the money side of things...

| Same here, abort the pups. I'm not sure if this will need to be a hysterectomy, I hope not. Eski/yorkie pups could mean a a lot of pain for mom, the pups and you. I'll send some good thoughts your way. It's a tough decision, but i'm sure you'll do right by your baby. |

| I would take that little girl to the Vet. ASAP and have her spayed. She does not need to be having puppies by a large dog or any other dog for that matter. Your taking a huge chance that she could die. Please, have her spayed, please! |

| First and foremost I am worried about the health of my dog!!! For those of you who thought to tell me your thoughts on this thanks but I don't need you to tell me. I already have plans to contact my vet tomorrow morning as this just happened today. My Yorkie is an 8lb female and my eskimo male is approximately 15 at the most. I was just wondering if there was such a thing as a yorkimo as I have not heard of it or of anyone selling them. Thank you for your thoughts, I will follow the advice of my vet tomorrow. |
