She obviously needs to hear the truth if she asked for one. Secondly, breeders should know the possible consequences anyways and not need to post about it period. My only concern is that of the poor bitch. I really really really hope she didn't take and that it ensured in the future that another 'accident' doesn't occur

| When I see threads like this, from someone who just registered (April 2007, you noticed, was his/her registraion date), I tend to wonder if we are just looking at a "troll". Someone who posts things just to get people's feathers ruffled. If that's the case, they enjoy seeing all the replies, all the pages. I'd personally just let this one get buried on page 4. |

| i hope this yorkie was taken to the vet to end or prevent a pregnancy by a bigger not yorkie dog. mixed breeds shouldnt be sold. accidents do happen but our dogs depend on us to take care of them and letting them have a accident tie with a bigger dog while in heat would be well our responsibilitys to take care of so she doesn't die trying to have mixed breed pups that are too big.

| Beyond the reasons of a very, very newbie posting a thread such as this and it happens more often than not. We tend to forget the forum is comprised mostely of yorkie pet owners sharing and learning from each other. If opinions and advice are withheld you're doing an injustice to the yorkies we are entrusted with by not sharing and educating each other. Though this post was not an advertisement to sell puppies the intent was there, as mention of $$$ was made on the initial post....

| My goodness talk about a dogpile, lol, I hope the newbie hasn't completely written off this site. Showing concern is far different from attack. Which I'm sure I'll now be attacked, lol. When she was saying please no more opinions; she was basically calling 'uncle'. Don't worry I think she's been beaten into submission, lol, she probably has taken her dog to the vet had the pregnancy aborted, the dog spayed, and is actively looking for someone else to take the dogs off her hands because she's such a bad owner and breeder. Lol, just kidding, probably not. . . but I am sure she will hesitate to post again, and possibly has quit YT altogether. The internet does mean annuity, but using "I'm only stating my opinion", or "It's only the truth" to be hurtful will only lessen the quality of this wonderful site. And I truly think it will make people hesitate to post their honest questions, which isn't that what this site is about: teaching. . . helping. . . sharing; especially if you're a new Yorkshire Terrier hobbist. I learned when I was a child that no question is stupid, and to treat others the way you wish to be treated. In ending this way too long post. Let me clarify, this is my opinion, but any anger or hurt feelings my post generates is unintentional. I respect and like the people in this forum, so please don't be angry. And to show my good intentions, I'll try a couple silly dog jokes to lighten the mood: (feel free to laugh, or roll your eyes, lol - I have two young children, and they thrive on these things!) Q: What type of dog always knows the time? A: A watch-dog! (have to imagine the drums in the background, lol) Q: How come the dalmatian couldn't hide? A: Because he was spotted already! Q: How can you tell if you have a stupid dog? A: He chases parked cars! Q: What do you get if you cross a dog with Concorde? A: A jet setter! Q: Where do Eskimos train their dogs? A: In the mush room! Q: Why did the snowman call his dog Frost? Because frost bites! Respectfully,

| I disagree. In cases like this, I don't think people demand a stop to "advice" because they are calling uncle. Most likely, she was hearing things she didn't want to or didn't agree with. I don't think people can get beaten into submission over the internet, and just because we told her the right thing to do, doesn't mean she (or anyone else for that matter) listened the first time. If she tells us to stop giving good advice, and we do stop, maybe it means it wasn't such an important matter in the first place. To me, asking for an opinion and then being told to stop giving advice in the manner we were is no different than a typical teenager asking her mother what to do in a situation, getting upset at the answer, and then telling her mother, "You don't know what you're talking about and you don't understand anything about me! Nevermind!." Typical immature reply to something we don't want to hear, right? She'll probably do as she likes anyway, and we can only hope it's the right thing. In that case, it's our responsibility to give the rest of the good advice that is needed, even if this individual isn't going to read it. If there wasn't a search function or lurkers, it wouldn't be an issue, but we have a responsibility to them too. /steps off soap-box |

| Okay, some of this passion is misdirected and unwarranted, i'm sorry. I don't want to rewrite it right now because I am pretty upset, got some very sad news. The main point still holds though. |

| Oh, I'm sorry, I was misunderstood. I agree with the advice; I just didn't agree with the attack tone that came with some of them (and I stress some, not all). I've seen it happen a lot, and this was the first time I said something. Normally I just start ignoring those threads. Anyway just wanted to clarify, thank you.
