I know I will get the following: registration paper dad is duel ckc and akc and i think mom is ckc, health certificate, papers from the vet appt, a contract i think? What does it need to state exactly? Umm thats all I can think of... Am I forgetting anything important? |

| I think it all depends on the breeder. Of course you are to get any and all papers associated with that dog ie: immunization record and all vet reports; AKC or CKC papers; copy of contract. Now from Sophie's breeder I got a booklet she had made up with laminated pages of care instructions, training tips....really, anything one could think of that would be helpful is in that book! It's also where her contract is kept and all of her vet records. We also received her favorite toy and a huge bag of the food she was eating. Sophie's breeder (whom I met here) was so very thorough and made sure that I had everything I would need for Sophie for the next little while. With Topher, we just received his papers, travel crate and his favorite blanket. So like I said...it all depends on the breeder. The vet papers and contract are really the most important, though, I think. Like I said...it all depends on the breeder. |
