I CONTACTED BY PHONE KORY ABOUT GETTING A LITTLE BOY YORKIE TO GO WITH MY 2 LITTLE FEMALES. SHE STATED SHE COULD HELP ME WITH A LITTLE GUY THAT WAS BORN 8-2-08. SHE STATED THAT I HAD TO MEET HER IN A PARKING LOT AT THE LOCAL WALMART BECAUSE SHE ALREADY HAD AN APPOINTMENT IN THE TOWN. WHEN I MEET HER SHE DID HAVE A VERY SMALL MALE YORKIE. WHILE LOOKING AT HIM SHE STATED THAT THE RUNNING NOSE AND WHAT SEEM TO BE VOMIT WERE BECAUSE OF CAR SICKNESS.THE BANKS WERE ALREADY CLOSED THAT DAY SO I HAD TO CONTACT HER AFTER THE WEEKEND TO GIVE HER MONEY. MONDAY AFTER THE BANKS WERE OPEN I GOT A HOLD OF HER AND WAS TOLD ME COULDN’T COME TO HER HOUSE BECAUSE SHE WAS A FRAID OF STRANGERS AT HER HOUSE BECAUSE A COUPLE YEARS EARLIER SHE WAS ROBBERED AT GUN POINT. SHE THEN SAID SHE COULD DELIVER HIM TO MY PLACE OF BUSINESS.
WHEN SHE SHOWED UP THE PUPPY STILL WAS SNOTTY NOSE AND HAD VOMITED AROUND HIS MOUTH AGAIN .SEE GRABBED MY $ 800.00 AND LEFT IN A HURRY LEAVING ME WITH A RECIEIPT FOR MY PUPPY AND SHOT RECORDS...
I PUT THE PUPPY IN A BOX WITH A BLANKET UNTIL MY SHIFT ENDED 5 HOURS LATER. WHILE AT WORK COWORKERS MENTION HOW DOCILE AND QUIET THE PUPPY WAS FOR A PUPPY. I TOOK HIM OUT TO POTTY A COUPLE TIMES AND HE ONLY DRIPPED A SMALL AMOUNT OF URINE.
I GOT HIM HOME AND LET HIM MEET MY 2 DOGS AND WENT OUTSIDE FOR POTTY TRAINING. THIS IS WHEN HIS FIRST BM WAS BLACK/DARK GREEN AND RUNNY. HE MAINLY JUST SAT THERE.
I ASSUMED IT WAS THE CAR SICKNESS AND NEW HOME AWAY FROM HIS MOMMY.
AFTER TRYING TO FEED AND WATER HIM I PUT HIM TO BED. THIS IS WHEN THE VOMITING STARTED.
BY MORNING HE WAS GETTING WORSE. I CALLED KORY AND SHE TOLD ME TO MIX UP A CERTAIN BLEND OF FOOD AND SUGAR WATER AND TO PUT IT IN AN EYE DROPPER AND GET WATER IN HIM. THE VOMITING AND BM GOT WORSE.
I CALLED HER AGAIN SHE STATED TO KEEP DOING WHAT SHE HAD TOLD ME AND IF HE WASNT BETTER BY THE NEXT DAY SHE WOULD COME CHECK ON HIM.I EMAILED HER LATER THAT NIGHT BECAUSE HE WAS GOING DOWN HILL VERY FAST.THE NEXT MORNING I CALLED HIM VERY VERY CONCERNED. SHE DID COME TO MY HOUSE AND ADMITTED HE WAS IN VERY BAD SHAPE. SHE TOOK HIM WITH HER THAT SUNDAY MORNING
SHE CALLED THAT NIGHT AND SAID HE WASNT GOING TO MAKE IT WITHOUT HELP FROM GOD.
THIS IS WHEN SHE INFORMED ME SHE DIDNT HAVE MY $ 800.00 TO GIVE BACK TO ME AFTER JUST 2 DAYS UNDER THE TERMS OF HER HEALTH GUARANTEE.SHE DID SAY SHE WOULD LET ME HAVE ANOTHER PUPPY AFTER IT WAS 3 MONTHS OLD AND I COULD COME BY AND VISIT HIM BECAUSE SHE COULD NOW TRUST ME. I KEEP EMAILING TO FIND OUT WHAT THE STATIC WAS ON A NEW PUPPY SINCE SHE HAD RETURNED TO CALIFORNIA FOR A VISIT TO HER OTHER HOUSE.
THEN ONE DAY SHE RESPONDED WITH AN EMAIL TELLING SHE HAD A REPLACEMENT PUPPY. AGAIN I HAD TO MEET HER AT A DIFFERENT WALMART STORE IN ANOTHER TOWN.WHEN I ARRIVED SHE HAD A VERY MUCH LARGER DOG WITHOUT MANY YORKIE FEATURES. BUT HE APPEARED HEALTHER THAN THE OTHER PUPPY.
AFTER I GOT HOME WITH HIM I WENT TO THE VET AND A GROOMER. HE WAS IN GOOD HEALTH BUT THE GROOMERS COMMENT WAS THE HAIR WASN’T CARED FOR AND APPEARED TO BE THE SAME AS A PUPPY MILL PUPPY.
AFTER A COUPLE WEEKS I STARTED EMAILING KORY FEICK ABOUT HIS AKC PAPERS AND GOT NO RETURN EMAILS. FINALLY SHE TOLD ME SHE DIDN’T HAVE PAPERS ON THE PUPPYS BECAUSE SHE NEVER REGISTERED THEM WITH THE AKC. THE ONLY WAY SHE GIVES OUT PAPERS IS IF YOU BUY a $3,000.00 PUPPY. I THEN TOLD HER THE PUPPY WAS USELESS TO ME FOR $ 800.00 BECAUSE I COULDN’T USE HIM TO BREED AND GET REISTERED AKC PUPS. I OFFERED TO PAY TO REIGISTER THEM. SHE SAID SHE WOULD DO THAT.
I SEND HER MY ADDRESS AGAIN AND I WAITED ABOUT ONE MONTH WENT BUY AND I EMAILED HER AGAIN. SHE FINALLY REPLIED TO ME TO SEND ME MY PHONE NUMBER SHE HAD SOMETHING TO TALK TO ME ABOUT. I WAITED SEVERAL DAYS AND REEMAILED HER MY PHONE NUMBER.AGAIN .NO RETURN EMAIL.
AT THIS POINT I HAVE DECIDED TO REPORT MY EXPERIENCE WITH HER AND HER COMPANY. THE PUPPY SHE ENDED UP GIVING ME ENDED UP ABOUT 4 TIMES BIGGER THAN MY YORKIES AND TOTAL USELESS AS A BREEDER STUD.EVERYONE EVEN POINTS OUT IS ODD DEFORM EARS. I BELIEVE THE REASON I NEVER HEARED FROM HER AGAIN IS MY YORKIE TURNED OUT TO BE SOME KIND OF MISBREED MUTE.
I HOPE THIS LETTER HELPS IN STOPPING PEOPLE LIKE THIS FROM TAKING ATVANTAGE OF OTHER PEOPLE OUT THERE.

I have 3 Courtash Yorkies that are beautiful and healthy. I notice that there are MANY customers responding with happy outcomes and beautiful healthy dogs and TWO individuals seemingly trying to ruin her business.

I talk to Kory often seeking advice and she mentioned this crap to me months ago and of course found it rather upsetting. From my understanding, Ginger "Fashion Paws" STILL wants a dog from Kory ... so I am curious as to why Ginger hasn't taken back her bad comments on this site. From my understanding, she got her negative information from Cindy who is this "TopFlash". TopFlash wanted to go into business with Kory and due to this business agreement going sour she is trying to ruin Kory and Courtash Yorkies. Now if Kory was so bad would poster number one still want a puppy from her and would poster number two go into business with her? You decide. Cindy is the breeder, by my understanding, that has phoned IRS, USDA, and anyone else she can, to try and hurt Kory and her business. It seems to me that this is simply slander and rather catty disgusting slander at that.

Personally, I'd like to see a retraction from Ginger. The website she did was so glittery that, in my opinion it detracted from the beautiful pictures of the dogs. Kory wanted changes done to the site which weren't done...Kory is willing, if the changes are done, to give her a dog... even though she knows what Ginger put on this site. Personally after reading what she wrote and with no retraction, I would stay with the webite I have and not give her a dog at all. Kory is far too forgiving and feels that Poster number two, Cindy, just filled her head with lies. I'll believe that with a prompt retraction of what she wrote.

As for if one should or shouldn't breed to standard, that is opinion and a rational comment to make. I think her Yorkies are better than standard so see no problem with it at all. As for the other two individuals -- one I think should have the guts to retract her comments and the other I don't expect to, but one should temper her comments with the knowledge that it stems from a business agreement gone sour.

All I know personally, is that I am with the numerous other people who bought from Kory and have the most beautiful, healthy dogs I have seen anywhere.

I hope Kory doesn't mind me spilling the details, but reading those comments, having heard the story before, just upset me.

Note to those truly interested in this topic and not those whom lack the maturity to be respectful of others.

Ginger (FashionPaws who bashed Courtash Yorkies so badly) now has her Courtash Yorkie in payment for her webwork. Has upped her website to Courtash Yorkies (go check) and claims never to have written those comments in the first place.

Slander is a terrible thing and doubly so when hiding behind a presumed username and faceless behind a computer.

Those with the capacity for making an intellegent decision can do the math here as to what is going on.

There has been someone posting information on this site regarding Courtash Yorkies stating this information is from me. Kory and I (Ginger) are friends and these statements are false. I built Kory's website and we did have a brief tiff which is and has been resolved and I would appreciate whom ever is posting and speading these false comments to "stop". I support Kory as a breeder and promote her through my business. She is reputable and has some incredible yorkies.

I live in SD and have talked to kory many times before when I was looking and she had no problems with me coming by her other home in orange county to look at the pups. I think topflash is just someone has a personal agenda against kory and is doing this.

I can somewhat relate to this because I've bought a pup from a breeder who is truly the devil julie whats her name in florida who ended up over the news for selling bad hundreds of pups from south america for dollars then sell them for 1200. Now this is someone who deserves all the bashing and slander but I think in all fairness kory is a legimate breeder and does not have any puppymills of any kind.

Kory has been blessed with great studs and dames who produce amazingly heatthy and teeny pups not runts. I truely believe that tiny size can be acheived with good breeding practices and not all small pups like that are runts as some jealous breeders have repeatedly done so.

I mean cmon now, how do you think yorkies even came about anyways. they didn's start out 5-6lbs way back when and they certainly didn't have the nice temperment yorkies have today. So therefore it is certainly possible for them to evolve from 10 lbs to 5 to 3 to 2 lbs with a slow generation of progession of breeding healthy smaller yorkies.

Some of her puppies are really cute. I just saw a picture of a Maltese puppy that she has on her site. From the pictures that are taken from far away, the puppy is super cute, but when you see the close up of her face, it looks like the poor baby has hydrocephalus.

Within the brain there are chambers of fluid. in dogs or people for that matter that are hydrocephalic, these chambers are too big and too much fluid within the brain. It can cause pressure on the brain enough to eventually cause seizures and death. Very often the puppy will also have an open fontenal that will not close and better if it doesn't as closing could increase the pressure on the brain.
A pup that looks hydrocephalic usually has a domed head and very wide set eyes. They usually do not have a long life span.

Oh wow, a lot of her super teeny ones have those wide set eyes and I thought that was cute and a good thing. You gotta admit those ones are extra adorable, some seem like the eyes are almost to the side of their head
