| Time for the puppies to change their diet. Help? Hi all It's been awhile since I've posted around here, but Tara and Bender had their first litter 3 weeks ago yesterday (4 girls and a boy, all healthy and happy!). The pups are starting to get really active and inquisitive and I thought it's about time to think about weaning. I'm just not sure what I should get for them. I want to make sure they have something that will keep them strong, happy, and healthy. I saw the food thread, but I wasn't sure if those were suggestions for once they are weaned, or during the weaning process. Just want to get my ducks in a row before I buy them something Thanks! -Bendless Love |

| Choose a good quality puppy dry food with no corn and no by-products. Put it in a food processor to turn it into a powder. Mix the powderized kibble with a little bit of high quality canned puppy food and hot water, stir and make a soupy gruel. I start feeding about 4 weeks 4 times a day. |
