| Unplanned Pregnancy Hi all, When I first got my yorkies, I did for the love of the breed! I truly love these guys. I wanted to breed at first because all vets I've seen described both my dogs as excellent yorkies. My male is the grandson of an AKC champ in Brazil. After I started my new job, I decided not to breed due to my busy schedule and long commute. Unfortunately Nina was in heat and it wasn't until this Monday that Barthollomew was fixed. I suspect they had some fun and I still don't know if she is expecting. How can I know? Is it too early to have her vet do a test? What can you tell me about breeding? Complications? Even though little puppies would be welcomed and loved, what I care right now is to be able to help her if she really is expecting!

| Here's a good link for determining pregnancy. The site has very good information to carry you through the entire pregnancy, whelping, post whelping care, puppies, etc. I would suggest you go back to the homepage and read through it all. http://www.debbiejensen.com/signs_of_pregnant.html |
