|  3 days Baby Not Eating!! Help!! I have a puppy that is about 3 days old and she was fine the last 2 days but today she seem SO WEAK!!! She can't even hold on to the nipple, so I supplement fed her ,but she only ate really little.....she's still pretty warm and the mom just keep on licking and licking...anything I can do to help? I called the vet and they said I should just tried to feed her...anything else I can do?????  |

| pup Find a vet who will tube feed her and show you how..she must stay warm, and fed. I am sorry to say that a pup who is not eating and weak, stands very little chance of survival without major help, ..are there any breeders who can show you how to tube her..best wishes |

| Pat, that is what I told her too. Breeding can be so rewarding but the heartbreak when we have one that just is not making it can be so hard to take.. |

| Candace, remember you did nothing to harm this baby. It is with God and already is free of pain and suffering. I always think of my boy, Jesse, when I see these posts and I can see him up there waiting and saying "Oh, you are here at last. We have been waiting to welcome you to our home across Rainbow Bridge! Come run and play with all of us!" Now, just concentrate on the remaining babies and take the kind of care of them that you did this lost little one. Prayers are with you and your babies. |
