| Looking for a GREAT breeder Hi everyone, I'm not only new to the forum, but I'm new to the country (USA, in case this is an international site). I'm located in Massachusetts and I want to buy a puppy. I was recommended to go to Briarbrook Kennel, by a friend who bought her yorkie there, but after much reading I have a feeling they are a puppy mill, which I refuse to support. I'm wondering if anyone knows of good breeders in the area that I can check, and also how much estimate would a yorkie be? I don't want to be scammed by my lack of knowledge in the area. Thank you so much for your time and any help you can provide, Teresa. P.S. Does anyone know anything about amoroso yorkshire terriers? Cassandra there has some puppies that will soon be available to get a new home, but I can't find any reviews online. Thank you! |

| The first site is a bit suspect to me since they have three types of dog breeds. On occasion I have heard of a husband and wife team, that one shows/breeds one breed and the other does another breed. Three seems like too much work. If it's several adults they really should all have their own site. Their yorkies don't really look that much to standard to me. Don't think I saw a health guarantee either. The second site's yorkies look better, and I like that they said their pups born in April are still too young to sell. Overall not much info though.

| I saw a " 1 year health guarantee free from genetic defects". But she brags about the sire weighing less than 3 pounds and shows pics of the pups in a teacup. I have zero experience with this breeder but I don't get a good feeling from google.

| Somehow I missed that but one year doesn't really mean much. Most genetic defects or Conditions don't show up for years.

| I don't personally have experience with her, but Susan Dodge at Cloverhill Yorkies is someone who has beautiful Yorkies, and she is very committed to her pups and the breed. Her username on YT is magicgenie. Clover Hill Yorkies |

| Our Yourkie baby came from Amoroso Yorkie babies. The breeder is Cassandra Corria and lives in Hudson Ma. She has the best adjusted puppies, well behaved and peepee pad trained. Our Lille girl is 2.6 lbs and our love. I don't know how to post on this site or I put one of her on. Check out her web site. |

| Baby girl. Welcome to you and your new girl to YT. She is very tiny and I do wonder how old she is and if she will be larger when full grown? Look forward to seeing pics and learning of her puppy antics |

| Baby girl Thank you, she is nearly grown up now and must be very cute. Think about getting insurance for her as these Yorkies can get expensive if they get sick. You are not alone, I can't post pics either, LOL! I am sure someone here will help you though. Enjoy your new little girl. |

| Health insurance was one of the first things we purchased. I had Yorkies years ago and know of their issues. She is so spoiled and has a closet full of cloths,I have a lot of pictures and will figure how to post some. Any hints from anyone will be helpful |

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Welcome Shayne BeBe and your baby - I also have a Lily who is five months old and weighs 2lb 2oz. She is also expected to get about 3lbs - I hope as she is gaining extremely slowly. Would love to see her clothes and please share with me where you were able to find them tiny enough for her - believe I am going to have to either start sewing some for her as well as knit a few things. Her brother Luke is 2 1/2 lb and believe he will be about 3 1/4 - maybe 3 1/2. The more weight the better on these tinies. If they happen to get sick they can withstand more - but hope that never happens. Post pics - is there something in the help section that tells you how?

| I love clothes and closet pictures- and of course beautiful little yorkie pictures! You have to resize them down to below 200...is it mp?...I feel like it is kb?... I use an app called image resized, makes it very easy for me. Then they will post. If you have an apple device it will only allow one pic at a time. It is kind of a bummer to lose so much resolution but honestly, most of them still look fine. Welcome to yorkie talk, looking forward to those pictures!

| I have given referrals to the breeder of my Yorkie many times and will continue to do it as a good experience needs to be shared. If you want to know more, feel free to private message me as I could not be happier and got to know a few others who also have a Yorkie from 'smartpuppiepets'. I have heard great things about other breeder referred here too so it seems like like you got some good leads already. Welcome to the commonwealth .
