| If it is a discharge, this can happen for several weeks. As long as it isn't foul smelling or have a green or black color, usually is normal otherwise. If it is red blood, she needs to go to the vet. Uterine infections can happen and they should be treated immediately. |

| Just wanted to ask...has she vomited, or does she appear weak, have you checked her temp to see if she has a fever? |

| Back from the vet The vet said that some dogs will have bleeding up until 6 wks after delivery of pups but 7 wks was unusual. Kayla didn't have a temp at the vet either and he said that it's possible that she's just going through this later than normal. I will be watching her for any signs of trouble and will call them immediately if something goes wrong. The bleeding has stopped which I am thankful for. Thanks for your support. |

| I'm glad that you took Kayla to the vet. If at all in question it's best to do so. I hope that she'll finish her bleeding and it won't appear again. Since there's no fever it's probably that she's just a little late in "wrapping" everything up...
