| Has Anyone Ever Heard of This Breeder? Hi, I recently purchased a tiny tot yorkie from Deb at AmazingYorkies.com. in Fairfax, Missouri. She was wonderful throughout the entire transaction, but unfortunately, my baby died two days ago. I am waiting for the necropsy to see what the cause of death was. I have been in touch with her the last few days and she has been very caring and concerned. She even sent me a beautiful plant with a card expressing her condolences and sending God's blessing during this time of sorrow. I am so devastated I can't even begin to express my pain. Deb told me to call her "when I am ready to talk." I suppose this means when I am ready to talk about a refund or a replacement if indeed that is warranted. I am not ready to talk about that right now, but I just wanted to now if any of you had ever had dealings with Deb. Thanks, Mia

| Thanks for your comments. I guess I just need some reassurance.

| Im so sorry for you. I considered buying a puppy from them. I just wasnt ready and I wanted to stay local and not have to ship. Ive never (so far) had a baby die when sold to a new owner and I think I would be as devastated as the new owner if they died. I would have trouble sleeping. Being a breeder it can happen, and probably unfortunately will one day if you breed long enough. What a sweet thing for her to send you flowers, Im sure she is sick over it. I only talked to her a couple times but she was so nice. Sending you prayers. |

| I called Deb the breeder as the baby was seizuring and so she was on the phone with me the entire time my daughter and I were freaking out as we tried to revive her with mouth to mouth and nutrical. She was so sorry and I know she was just as devastated as I was while it was happening. Deb was also on the phone with me as I zoomed down the highway on my way to the emergency animal hospital. She just kept telling me to massage her heart and said that maybe the baby was in a comma and the vet would bring her back. Gosh, I was clinging with hope onto those words, but unfortunately she was already dead when I got to the hospital. Deb was on the phone with me when the vet came into the room and gave me the horrible news. She also called me later on that night and told me I could call her any time of the day or night. She really has been supportive throughout this entire ordeal. I guess you can say she was right there with me even though she was thousands of miles away.

| Hi, I am sorry for your loss. I have never heard of this breeder in paticular. She seems to be a caring breeder, it doesn't appear that she covers HYPOGLYCEMIA,(which is what I think happened to your dog) few breeders do, reguardless, she still has a good health guarantee and it looks like she will help you out. I do I try to steer people away from shipping when they have never been on site to see the breeding facility. I am from Illinois, and Missouri is very well known for it's bad breeding facilities. But judging from her website and the care it looks like she puts into the dogs she isn't one of them. I also looked up her name on some sites and I couldn't find anything negative about her. I was wondering a few things. How old was she and how much did she weigh when she was shipped? Do you know how much the parents of your dog weighed? I hope that your family has a Merry Christmas. It will be sad without tinkerbell there, but she will be looking down at you. |
