|  DNA testing for color I have been trying to research DNA coat color testing. What is the best company to use and which tests should I do? I have a blond yorkie but from what I've researched she is golden because she does have black hairs and I've read blond will NEVER have any black hairs... so I want to get her tested to see what she carries. So... What company to use what tests (locus) are available Thanks! |

| Donating YT 10K Club Member  | I have used vetgen in Florida to color test my biewer. Testing for gold is e. Testing for sable is Ay. It is also entirely possible your yorkie isn't either. I owned a very light colored girl who simply did not have the right coat color. Here's a link to vetgen. They are very fast and usually results are available in a couple of weeks.
