Lillies puppies are a very active group, scooting, crawling, and everyone has their eyes open. My question is, Is it too soon to set up a wee pad area outside of the whelping box? They just turned 2 weeks but have know for a few days where the exit door is

. They have been leaving puddles all over the whelping box

At two weeks I would expect their mom to still be pottYing them. And no I wouldn't expect them to use a pad if not.

I am surprised they are even active enough to get out of the whelping box.

Mama stays out of the box unless they need feeding for a few days now. I went ahead and set up the pad on one side of their box and sure enough they are going ONLY on the pad. YAY We no longer have pee bathed puppies. I am in awe as how advanced they are, even mamas pregnancy was advanced she would hit all the milestones early
