| Pheobe's XRAY Well, unfortunately, i DID NOT have my camera with at the vet I didn't realise that they couldnt give out copies! LOL Luckily, the Vet took a picture with her phone ( mine is a dinosaur--im SO BEHIND the times for my age group! Its embarassing!) So, It is a little hard to see.. but definately better than nothing! FOUR PUPPIES!!! They only took one view, which i wasnt happy about. I wanted two different views but they had emergencies everywhere in there and people crying... it was horrible. I didnt want to be too much of a hassle asking for another view. I was just happy that I got the service that I did. Vet said there "MAY" be a fifth pup in there, she said something about by the ribs and behind another pup. I cant see any sign of a fifth.. but who knows. Im OVERLY EXCITED ABOUT FOUR PUPPIES!!! I cant beleive it!! Im now just praying that each pup is healthy and thriving, and that lil momma has an easy delivery. I've been taking temp twice daily. No rise or drop yet.Im hoping for pups by Thursday.. I HAVE TO be at work on Monday to close the month and i want to be therre 24/7 for the first few days. MY LUCK she'll go into labor Monday morning and i'll lose my job staying at home with her ... ugh.

| Oh my gawsh!!! NO !! not a pup yet, and at this moment she's eating!! Shes been sleepy all day and breathing really heavily, but NOTHING! no temp drop, no contractions.. IM DYING WAITING!! haha. I cant imagine she wants them still in there any more then i do, its like they are trying to fight their way out of there, the amount of movement and harshness of the kicking is almost creepy. COME OUT PUPPIES! I WANT TO FINALLY MEET YOU !!!!!!!!!!

| Wow! That is kinda interesting & a lil creepy...they look like little lizards when you just see the skeletons in the x-ray. Hopefully you'll get to meet the puppies soon. Wish you a successful problem-free whelping

| Im commenting again, just need to vent about how worried i am about her not having them before Monday. I really do not know what I will do. Its a MUST that im there(if i want to keep my job) I know i have stated it before but as sunday is closing in--im getting really upset. I know nature will take its course... but i hope its just keeping my work schedule in mind ( yeah right!) The only thing i have thought of is having my mother here for her, but she knows NOTHING about whelping a litter. And work is about 20 mins drive from home, along with " how the heck do i get my boss to understand that i NEED TO LEAVE". My mind is just racing and all this makes the time go by SO MUCH slower. I've already pulled the "honey-you might be supporting us both for a while" speech. haha, but if it all came down to it... i dont know if I would have the guts to do something like that and not show up on the MOST crucial day of the month and disappoint my coworkers (a.k.a. friends) If anyone knows any rituals...spells.. chants.. prayers that could send Pheobe right into labor... ILL PAY YOU and forever be in your debt .. ugghhhhh ...jeeeze.

| The one thing I can tell you from my experience is never "plan" on anything because we haven't had a litter here yet that went as planned! Last litter, I took Zoe to work with me and at 6 days early, she almost had the puppies in my office and as it was, the first one was born in my car speeding home. Talk about stress! If you are going to breed, you really need a job that will be flexible and understanding with you because it's just not fair to her or the puppies... and I will also say that sometimes that first week after the puppies is born is really tough too with worrying about puppies eating and I've had to tube feed and supplement more than one puppy which means getting up every 2 hours even through the night and missing work during the day.... if this is something you are going to continue to do, maybe it's time to find a new job? I know that I certainly couldn't do this if my boss wasn't so good to me. |

♥Trained by my pups♥ Donating YT 500 Club Member | I would for sure have your mom sit with her. She needs someone there in case things go wrong and she needs to be seen by the vet. You do not want her alone that is for sure. Let's hope today is the day so no more worries for her or you.
