| 9 weeks old should i talk the milk away this little guy ive named him Keeper as i wont part with him our girl Lexi gave birth to 2 pups one we lost on day 1 and the other little guy was pretty small 1.8oz ,Lexi had c section and became very sick so we had to start feeding him i used the puppy formula to start and he was not gaining much so i started him on the Leerburg reciepe and woo he has done very well he is now eating moist puppy food mixed with his milk ,he is also trying some very small kibble .he is also starting to take a bit of water .he was bottle fed until he was 8 weeks im just wondering if i should keep giving him the milk or should i stop .have had other litters but momma has all ways done the weaning he weighs 1lb 2oz today.any suggestions would be great

Donating YT 2000 Club Member | With his size I would keep doing what you are since he is thriving. When he gets about 12 weeks I would slowly wean him off. I would consult your vet.

| I would not change his routine until a minium of 12 weeks..even to 6 mos is not being too careful. |

| thanks vet says he should be fine without it but i agree im going to keep giving it to him because he is doing so thanks
