Senior Yorkie Talker | Vet on Wednesday! Emma is going for a check up on Wednesday. I hope all is well. She has some signs of pregnancy, but I guess we will find out for sure tomorrow at 3. Wish us luck. YorkieProud |

Senior Yorkie Talker | Just got back from the Vet. No babies. Doc said he felt something but felt it was intestines and said that if she were pregnant it is very small puppy. He felt for sure it wasn't a puppy though. She was first bred on April 17th and he said that I should still keep my eye out for the next 10 days or so because her belly should start to grow rapidly. She was in heat in December and then came in again in April. She turned 2 in January and this is the first time we have bred her. He said that if she continues to have these odd heat cycles, she may never be able to conceive. I thought for sure we had a pregnancy as we have had all the tell tale signs, but I guess it must be just a false pregnancy. The Doc even commented on the size of her breast. Anyway, I still love her to death and if she has puppies in the future fine and if she doesn't then that's fine too. YorkieProud |
