| Is this right Hi, I do not know if I am posting this in the right section or not.. If your talking to a breeder about prices and payments to purchase a puppy and the breeder tells you what they will and will not accept, if they get an offer or a deposit while you are nego the arrangement is it right to tell you the pup is sold, the pup is available, pup is sold, etc... over and over again? and to tell you the original buyer backed out, now the buyer is back, now the buyer is trying to scam her.. etc.... does this sound right to you.... feels like the person is taking the highest bidder... I am just trying to find my baby girl a companion... __________________ CoCo's Mommy

| I know it is frustrating dealing with some breeders. I know even some of the top breeders will occasionally their mind on whether to sell or keep a puppy. I feel that once a deposit is made that the breeder should follow through with their agreement but even then some of them will change their minds for a variety of reasons. It is possible that the breeder is on the up and up because I know many puppy buyers play games too and will string a breeder along and then change their mind. My recommendation is that if you are not totally comfortable and trusting of this breeder then find someone else that is easier to deal with. It is also possible that the breeder is having second thoughts about selling you a puppy and they might not know how to say no. |

| Hi, thank you for your response, I truly think this breeder was holding out for the high bid... she would email me and send me photos and videos, then the puppy I decided on was no longer available, then 30 minutes later she was.. back and forth with two puppies over and over, then just searching on the internet because of my feelings "vibes" her puppies were listed on several sites.. puppy find, next day pets, etc.. I typed in the breeders name and these were the results, she is a member on YT so I am being nice and not stating names.. but it is weird that she tells me I can offer this to you and no one else and then I find the same furbaby on different sites.. then i get another email that starts all over again... her prices are higher and higher for the smaller puppy.. I am just trying to find my baby girl CoCo which will be 1 year old Nov 18th and only weighs 2.5 to 2.8 pd's " I did not know she was going to be this tiny" a playmate companion for life within her size, pound heavier etc.. I truly do believe that I was played... but I am still just looking for another furbabie to love unconditionaly, I am not a breeder nor do I want to be..I just want a sibling for my baby!!

| Sorry I just wanted to say I did not mean that listing on other sites is not right.. I was just trying to say that I did not know several different sites had the same puppies for sale so you have several people looking and communicating for the same dog as you are talking to the breeder ...

| My concern would be that this is just a scammer and perhaps not a real breeder. Is this someone that was recommended to you? You have to be really careful when dealing with breeders that you cannot personally go visit unless they are an established breeder that comes with recommendations. Good luck finding your new baby. |

| As I tell all my prespective new families: No matter where you get your yorkie from, you must be 100% comfortable with your breeder first, if you don't, walk away. I don't care how cute that yorkie is, you buy your breeder first then you buy your yorkie. You are buying a relationship; 7x24, the deal doesn't end when you walk out that door with your new puppy.

| I know plenty of breeders in the Florida area. Did you go to YTCA.org breeder referral page......Also, check the states that are close to you.

| I need help finding a good breeder in fl too! My husband and i are looking for a yorkie in fl for my mother-in-law who wants one "just like mine". Which is impossible, especially since i did not have a good experience and my breeder has been banned for 10yrs from the akc! We have been all over the place and spent a ton of ours to find zero breeders that seem to be ethical. One had all 12 of her dams in cages in the garage in florida! We see way more scammers than good people. We have used the ytca website and akc breeder sites and still........nothing. Is their anyone you trust in fl? |
