he's only 17 hours old he cant latch on to his mum i'm trying everything does anyone have any ideas please help

Lightly pinch/squeeze the moms nipple until you see milk coming out.
I know it sounds gross but take a little of your saliva and put around the females nipple.
Hold the pup in place until you see the pup is nursing.
You may have to do this several times.
Also (1) drop of nutri drops on pups tongue will give the pup a boost of energy to suck.

thanks to you all no cleft palate, sat for a few hours last night he started to nurse so i think all will be ok yeah xx
