| Anyone feed egg while pregnant? I have been feeding Rosie 1 half of a boiled egg everyday for the last stretch of her pregnancy. I looked up the nutritional value of a WHOLE egg and found that it has 2% calcium (for a human) so she would be geeting 1% in her half egg. I was just wondering if anyone else does this or feels that it is not healthy or has any negative points to doing this. Thanks!

| Eggs Eggs are ok, occasionally, I would consult a good vet about feeding a bitch in pup. Definetly no raw eggs, and then only the yolk! Eggs have a lot of protein. Good luck! |

| I do a egg yolk, with a tablespoon of Karo Syrup, can of goat's milk with equal parts of water right after puppies are born and during the time she's nursing. Also, a whelping pudding of 1 can of everaporated milk, 2 egg yolks, 2 tablespoons of Karo Syrup. Warm 12 oz of water in the micro mix in 1 envelope of geletin add the beaten egg yolks, Karo Syrup, and 12 oz can of evaporated milk.....Chill in refrigerator until it sets....One or two tablespoons once a day. Also, great for weaning puppies, especially if they're small ones. Egg whites are ok, if they are cooked.
