And Bildio, it is not a moot point as to whether or not GB is a YTCA member. As I do believe any reputable breeder, regardless of their breed club affiliation would tell you what GB has done is not ethical.

Glenda is not a YTCA member and you don't have to be a YTCA member to compete in any AKC speciality whether it be in Colorado ect....

It is irrelevant what her membership status on this board is. In GB's own words she has been a fancier and dedicated to this breed for 30 years, she is involved in showing yorkies. Any reputable exhibitor/breeder knows full well what ethics are expected of them in the show/breeder world.

Maybe she doesn't consider helping a friend with shipping unethical. I don't think she'd intentionally do anything unethical, & risk ruining her longstanding good reputation earned through hardwork & dedication to bettering the breed..

I agree with this. All this arguing is stupid. We have the facts from glenda and the documents so we know what she did. Most of find that unethical and that's our opinion and our right. If some of you are okay with her actions that's your opinion and what you consider ethical. I personally would hope all yorkie breeders would strive to follow the YTCA's code of ethics whether they are members or not. There are several reasons I wouldn't buy from glenda personally and that's my right.

Again, I will ask anyone that personally has one of Glenda's dogs and has had any problems or a negative experience to please post. All I have to say I'm sorry to see another thread about Glenda Beaver again. I personally have a 6 months old male from Glenda and couldn't be happier. I have read both positive/negative posts about her before, but have decided to contact other YT members who ACTUALY have Glenda's yorkies before making any decisions (as I felt that these are folks who would have first hand knowledge about her breed, and not from someone else based on heresay). So upon feedback from other YT members, which were all positive and glowing feedback, I've decided to contact Glenda about purchasing a male from her. Prior to Orion being shipped to me, I have had several calls with her and she was extremely helpful and answered my endless amount of questions. After Orion has arrived, I have had several more phone calls with her to discuss his vaccinations schedule due to his small size and also an update on how he's adapting to his new home.

In any case, I've have had Orion for 2 months now and all I can is what a perfect little guy he is...aside from his current dry skin condition which has now improved.

Orion is also extremely smart and has a great temperament.

I agree with the others who have posted positive comments about Glenda earlier in this thread. This will be my first and last post on this thread...as I'm sure there's going to be some folks that are going to object strongly.

Elaine answered in the quoted post below. The fact that many people have "perfect" puppies from GB was not originally the question asked and really has no relevance to the original question - it is a matter of ethics and I do believe it's been proven that GB's ethics are questionable. Enough said!

Now, with that said I will also say that I have personal documentation showing that she has in fact shipped pups to a petstore in Danbury. She says they were not her pups but she was doing a friend a favor, however according to documentation she did this MANY TIMES. Some of the pups as young as eight weeks old and at least two that had just had hernia operations. In my opinion it does not matter whether they were her pups or someone else's she still had her hands in something less then ethical. That to me tarnishes her as a reputable breeder.

Lastly, information was sent to me in which someone bought a pup from her and the pup arrived to the person very sick. This information was posted right here on the open internet via an organization that was paying for the pups surgery. They wrote to Glenda asking for her to do the right thing but it is my understanding that they never got a response from her.

Just because someone once had a good reputation does not mean that that cannot change. There was one other breeder on here that too that was once well respected but later turned into a very bad breeeder in which she was either shut down or at least fined.

Please research on your own and research well before doing business with ANYONE.

Yes, there was and I wish I had kept all that a YT member here sent me. If that YT member is reading this maybe you can post it or if you want to be annonymous just send it to me again. Does Glenda still sell to petstores or was this only a few times. You know we all make mistakes in our lives. Everyone of us Dont keep judging her and beating her up to pieces unless she sells everyday to petstores...If this was a one time thing let it go and forgive. Im sure she learned a lesson. Please stop putting her on the chopping block....
