| What is repetative and tiring are members that continually turn things around to defend the actions. Yes, it is tiring and yes I am repetative and I'm probably wasting my time but if it gets through to just one person than it's worth it. And, yes she is a tool but she made herself that tool. I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I wish someone would address what is the goal in all these threads? Is the goal to encourage people not to buy from Glenda, and put her out of business? It sounds like some of you, believe she should no longer be breeding. Is the goal to get her to stop delivering any dogs to Puppy Love? Perhaps starting a thread, and having people sign a petition or send an e-mail will encourage her to end this practice, if it is indeed an ongoing thing. I think many of us agree that sending the dogs to a Pet Store is wrong; I think we disagree on whether she no longer has anything positive to contribute to breeding. So lets help change what many of us think is wrong.

| I don't know her personally. The truth be known I spoke to her briefly, well over a year ago after losing my Newman to cancer. I found her to be very nice on the phone and almost bought an older pup from her (one year old) but realized that I was not ready. I also(if you've gone back and read any of my posts) have always spoken highly of her (Based on the reputation that followed her and based on my conversation with her) however, AFTER seeing evidence of activity that I do not support, I would not buy from her and I would not reccomend her. I believe that people make a mistake and that they should be forgiven for the mistake if they've learned from it but in my opinion this went on too many times for it to be considered a mistake. What does reputable mean? I know a broker who sells beautiful, healthy pups and I know a petstore that sells healthy pups but are they reputable? To me reputation goes far beyond the quality or health of a pup. I look at the moral character of the person as well, and if others do not consider that then that's their right but it's also my right to feel as I do. And, I'm really done now with this thread. One: before her show/breeder days she was a known high volume byb. Two: her lack of responsibility for the liver shunt yorkie she sold, along with the sick Frenchie that she and her boyfriend sold. Three: her documented shipping of numerous puppies to a pet store. These are things I personally am aware of. And Nancy, my goals in this thread are to try to help stop the puppy mill cycle which starts with those that sell to pet stores, and to let the truth be known about a breeder that has been highly recommended on this site and her lack of ethics as a breeder. It would be great if Glenda does change her practices as a result of this thread.

| It's my opinion that I would not buy a pup from her because I find that atleast some of her business practices are less then what a reputable breeder would allow herself to take part in and these same actions are against morally what I believe in. Reputation to me is not only based on the product we produce but also the way in which we conduct ourselves both ethically and morally. Elaine |

If someone's goal is to stop puppy mills, the place to start is certainly not with Glenda Beavers. If you have a moral issue with what she has done, that is totally different... | |
