| Princess weighed in at 10 lbs before pregnancy, she had pups five days ago, and yesterday weighed 8.5 lbs, but she was also spayed with a c-section. So I dont know if that is an accurate count or not. She had six pups in her, one died tho. They all weighed around 4 oz at birth, so that accounts for a lot of the weight gain, I guess.

| Actually we thought there were only four pups, thats all we had seen in xray the week bvefore, but five hours after giving birth she was growling and tried to bite me AND her new pups I knew something was wrong. Took her in, did another xray, and found two more pups hiding! One of the pups was deformed and was blocking the birth canal, doc did c sec and spay to save the other pup. Her uterus almost ruptured and i came closer than I realized to losing her. My saga is in another thread in breeder section, you can read it there if you want, I feel like its been a soap opera! I dont want to steal this thread, I just thought I could give some helpful info!!
