| the only other way of know of is checking the progesterone level in the blood. hope this helps

| Is there an over the counter test for that? Could I get it at the Feed Supply store? Hmm, if they have one for, like a horse, would that work on such a small dog? Donating YT 14K Club Member | my vet did a swab on Gracie. They used a long q-tip type thingy and swabbed her cervix and checked out the cells under a microscope. Cost was around $30.

| a swab works for an estimate but the blood test is far more accurate
