| questions on 1 sm newborn pup hi gidge had 5 babies today the last one was a smallre girl and i noticed that when i check on the the smaller is off to the side alone...so i keep putting her back in with those nursing...looks like she wont get the attention she needs because she is the runt..im going to start supplementing how much and how often does she get the milk? and when can i start giving the babie nurtra cal? |

| congrats on the babies!!!! i believe you feed 2cc's every 2 hours. i have not had to do this yet but if i recall, i think this is correct. good luck little one

| I would suppliment the larger ones and not the tiny, she needs alone teat time every two hours to get her strength. congrats on the babies

| Conrats on your new babies!...Have you checked the palate for a cleft to make sure there is not one!...I also would sit and make sure this baby gets to nurse and supplement the largest ones...That little one needs to catch up!...Good luck! ~Laura

| hey lisa she is doing great ..after i posted this i didnt see her pushed to the side anymore and she was eating with the rest of them and if you take her away from food she lets you know she isnt happy about it..lol my husband cant believe her beautiful they are i think he thought blakc and tan puppies all alike big deal..but he was looking atthe smaller female talking about how pretty she was |

| good luck with coco!! when is she do? little girl had a litter last year and she is right at 5lbs and it was her first litter..the dad was unforunately bigger..but she had 3 babies 2 breach and 1 was normal they all needed help coming out and she had to push a few times on each while i pulled but gidget she is 6.5lbs and man one push and the puppy was out..she had 5 and they were smaller then little girls that might have helped her out too..but little girl still did great and both are great moms |
