I sure hope no one has to use this but just in case......... *note this CPR way is only for small dogs do not try this way on larger dogs! Lay the Yorkie on a flat surface on it's right side & extend the head back to open an airway. Open jaws to check for any objects in mouth &/or throat (do place fingers inside...ask Chelsea why..see my OUCH blog). If not easily removed hold Yorkie upside down by their back end & shake vigorously to try to remove anything....
My daughter got bit by Prince last night. He got a hold of a NO NO and Chelsea went to take it out of his mouth. She put her finger in his mouth ( a NO NO on her side) and he dropped it. He thought he still had it however a put the jaws of death on her finger. So here was a lesson for us all when Prince has something he likes that's a NO NO trick him into dropping it!
