I don't have an answer to your question, but is it wonderful to hear someone say they want a larger Yorkie. My Oscar is 7 months old and 8 lbs, and I wouldn't trade him for 10 tiny Yorkies. Some people consider the larger size a flaw because it doesn't meet the breed "standard", but I think the larger dogs are a throwback to what the breed used to be.
