Yep, we got a "bad weather" day here too. I commute from Brenham to College Station for work. The University is closed today. I think it might be more for the students since they were supposed to start up again today and a lot might not be able to get back from wherever they were staying during the holidays. We're waiting to hear if tomorrow is called off too. I was just telling my husband that we must be such weanies! If it's even the slightest bit icy outside, schools are cancelled and a lot of businesses close. Granted, I don't want to drive an hour on bad roads if there's the smallest chance they will be icy but there are other states that have this kind of weather half the year and you don't see them staying home every day! It's just that we don't know how to drive in it, I guess.
Oh well, you won't hear me complaining. I'm getting paid to stay home AND saving gas money!!
