i agree with everyone else - I wouldnt even let my girls play at the dog park even if they did get off my lap unless I was RIGHT there and could snatch them up.

Why take a chance ? it only takes a split second to rock our worlds....and the risk is too high no matter how friendly the big dog

Potter - you're just being SMART - if you think of all the things that can hurt them -(not including illness) I think dog attacks on small breeds & cars would be the top 2 biggest threats
