 Where do you Volunteer?
As a former teacher I used to volunteer with the public school system when my children were in school. For the past five years I have been volunteering at a senior citizen center and helping to serve lunch to all who use the facilities. I have gotten to know lots of wonderful people and love the people I work with. This center is particularly active and caters to the people so much that they are very spoiled. I help out at least once a week and sometimes twice a week when there is a special event. I look forward to going each week and seeing all of my friends as well as giving of myself to others. |
