What brand of dried food? I went through this with my first yorkie, Hobbs. He would NEVER eat! I had to hand feed him the dried food in order for him to eat at all. But I finally realized that he just didn't like his food...he didn't like how it tasted. So, I switched to Chicken Soup for the Puppy Lovers' Soul and I haven't had any problems since. He usually cleans his bowl and licks the residual off the bottom. Maybe you could try switching brands, too.
