I was never able to get my little girl to use potty pads, she also thought they were toys and refused to potty on them so I cant really be of much help for that one. BUt as for the rawhide, I do not recommend them. They do not digest well and so they are really bad for dogs, I dont allow my girls to have any. The only type of chew things that I recommend are the rubber nylabones and bullysticks both of which you can buy online or at your local Petsmart.
