Some are pretty big but not bigger than Brandy, I don't think. I've never seen an owl in my yard but I have seen them near by. I used to have a cage of finches in my kitchen window and one time a hawk swooped down and smashed into the window. The hawk then flew over and sat on my fence shaking his head for about 5 minutes before he finally flew away. I thought it was amazing he spotted the tiny little birds through the window. | WARNING! They might not be able to pick her up BUT and this is the biggie!, their talons can sever the spinal cord of the dog. They swoop down with talons spread wide open and when they touch the prey, they close them quickly and tightly. Lots of strength and lots of chance for damage.. |
