I would make an appointment so he can check her heart, knees, etc. even if she doesn't need any vaccines at this time. Your breeder should send you home with the dates and types of vaccines and wormings already performed.

Also, I think that chart by Fosters and Smith is out of date. Most do not give shots until at least 8 weeks now, and then 12 and 16 and rabies not until they are at least 6 months and never lepto for yorkies. Only give kennel cough (bordatello) if you board your dog. Skip the giardia vaccine and lyme disease vaccine. Never give the rabies vaccine with any other vaccine.
