My last yorkie weighed 3 pounds at adulthood. We have seen hawks, foxes around our neighborhood and at our cottage. She was never left alone, especially at the cottage. She was always on a leash or in someone's arms. A bit of a pain. I always worried about being carried away. The risk does exist. Our cottage is in a bay called "Hawk's Bay" Hmmm...i wonder why
