How long did you keep your pup out that he has burned pads, test the pavement with the back of your hand, if it's to hot for your hand, it's to hot for a dogs pads. I don't know of a home remedy for burned pads. At this point honey, I would have this dog at the vet. To many things are happening to him to fast. Dehydration in small dogs is very dangerous, he could go down fast. Please get him to the vet ASAP and take a stool sample for the vet to test to make sure there are no parasites. |
About the paw pads, we took him outside this morning for a walk when the pavement was cool and the sun wasn't out. Repeatedly we've been taking him outside today for 5 minutes at a time for pee breaks. This could have caused it.
My mom refuses to take him to the vet or at least call. This is making me kind of mad, I feel like she's just putting it off until something bad happens to Mickey. I feel like I'm the only one worrying about my poor dog. I'll see if I can go to Petsmart or Petco and find Nutri Cal there. And I'll ask my brother to buy some chicken legs and thighs. Thank you so much. I'll keep you updated.
