Glad he is feeling okay otherwise. If the problem persists or if your pups experience this frequently, you might want to consider switching foods.

I thought Cesars had a higher fat content than many foods, but looking at their nutritional analysis, hard to say. Both Cesars and Mighty list the minimum fat and protein content rather low, too low at single digits. But, that means the actual content can be any number above that.

9% protein would not be enough for a dog. The food I feed is considered low at 24% min protein and 15% min fat.

Just something to think about if there is a frequent problem.
