That's what I've always heard and that once their stomachs develop and start to fully digest everything they will stop. My Eskie did, but Dublin is a year old and I still catch him doing it.
My husband saw him run across the yard with a turd in his mouth and said it looked like he was smoking a cigar. So now we refer to them as stogies...
